One Step at a Time: Walking Toward a Cure for IBD

Please join us for the 2017 Walk for Hope, a fundraising and awareness event for pediatric inflammatory bowel disease research at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP.)

Today, IBD is the fastest-growing pediatric autoimmune disorder. The Pediatric IBD Center at CHOP is the largest and most advanced program in the world dedicated to the treatment and study of IBD in children.

Last year’s Walk for Hope raised more than $140,000 for IBD research and included more than 600 participants. With your help we can raise even more and be one step closer to a cure!

Our Partners: IBD Family Research Council

The IBD Family Research Council (FRC) is a volunteer organization of families whose children have been cared for at the Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease at CHOP. Organized in 2006, the group is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children with IBD and is committed to raising funds for research. Launched by the FRC in 2009, the Walk for Hope has become the group's annual fundraising event. It is the only major event in the greater Philadelphia area directly supporting pediatric IBD research.
