Team Captain MONTY Philly Spin-In 2024

Ride for Breakthroughs for Little Hearts!

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Cardiac Care Unit saved our son Monty's life when he was born in June 2021.

We are eternally grateful to the nurses and doctors at CHOP who do incredible work every day, and the hospital's cardiac research is the reason Monty survived ten hours of heart surgery when he was four days old, and has been thriving ever since.

With your help, more and more children can have the same outcome. CHOP is continuing to develop a better understanding of what causes pediatric heart defects and find new treatments that offer hope to families like ours.

1 in every 120 babies born in the United States is diagnosed with congenital heart disease.

As Monty's surgeon, Dr. Jonathan Chen, says:

"The Philly-Spin-In not only inspires the Cardiac Center team to continue our pursuit of clinical excellence, but the funding the event generates also allows us to push new boundaries of research and patient care initiatives that help define the future of pediatric heart care."
