Dear Friends and Family,

As you know, our son David was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease when he was just 15 years old. Crohn’s disease, together with ulcerative colitis, is known as inflammatory bowel disease or IBD. Although there presently is no cure for IBD, we have been working hard to raise research dollars for the doctors and scientists at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia who are bringing us ever closer to a cure. Thanks to the cutting edge treatments and research advances happening at CHOP’s IBD Center, David lives with great hope for tomorrow's breakthroughs and a cure in the near future. As a family, we have dedicated ourselves to support the research taking place at CHOP.

As a family, we have dedicated ourselves to supporting the research taking place at CHOP. The major fundraiser for CHOP's IBD Center is the 15th annual “Walk for Hope”. Last year’s “Walk” raised over $240,000. 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to fund research at CHOP. This year’s “Walk for Hope” is taking place on Sunday, June 9th at Citizen's Bank Park and we have again established Team Fine.  Every dollar makes a difference to David and kids all over the world who suffer with IBD

With gratitude and thanks,

Nancy and Jeff
