Why this is important to our team:

PATIENTS NEED US:

In 2006 my son David  (DaDa) Silcott Jr was diagnosed with cancer a brain tumor Atrt. It’s a very aggressive tumor with a low survival rate. He came in for a MRI and the tumor was discovered and he underwent surgery the very next day. DaDa battled for 10 months . We lossed him in less than a year. My life has been altered forever changed. While their chop was extremely caring compassionate and good to him and our family. It’s important for us to honor his memory and give back while still fighting to help ensure another child or family has to experience the grief we are still experiencing since 2006 or go through what we we have and still have to go through. So for DaDa and all Children it is important to us to continue to fight. Let’s Go DaDa Dynamites❤️ we love you DaDa always😢

BREAKTHROUGHS ARE UPON US: Every day, CHOP’s Cancer Center team is redefining what a cancer diagnosis means for a child. The center offers the most advanced therapies available anywhere in the world, including cutting-edge clinical trials that reprogram the body’s own immune system to fight cancer. CHOP’s Center for Childhood Cancer Research is one of the most distinguished research programs in the nation.

How You Can Help:

MAKE AN IMMEDIATE IMPACT TODAY: 100% of every donation to the 2023 Parkway Run & Walk, presented by Citadel, will help CHOP make important breakthroughs in understanding the causes of childhood cancer, developing new treatments that will improve outcomes for children, and one day may lead to a cure for childhood cancer.
