Why Do All The Cops Have Beards? Because it's “No Shave November”, a fundraising effort by the Egg Harbor Township Police Department to benefit the Cancer Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and you can help.

With full support from Chief Raymond Davis, Officers will be donating money to CHOP Cancer Center in return for the Chief waiving the department's policy regarding shaving.  Participating Officers will not be allowed to shave during the month of November!!!!!!!

WHO:  Anyone can help. Anyone can go to the web page and donate to our fundraiser. Please consider helping CHOP, an organization that does so much for our most precious gifts and their families in need. The website is secure and maintained by CHOP. 100% of all donations go directly to the Cancer Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

WHAT:  To grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free.  Donate the money you usually spend on shaving and grooming for a month to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.

WHEN:  November 1st, 2015 thru November 30th, 2015.

WHERE:  Since the Officers will be visible to the public with their unkempt faces, they hope to spread the word of the needs of the Cancer Center of CHOP, while working within the confines of Egg Harbor Township.

WHY:  No-Shave November is a unique way to raise cancer awareness, and help children and their families in need.  What better way to grow awareness than with some hair?

HOW:  Donate a minimum of $35 dollars and participate by growing a beard, cultivating a mustache, letting those legs get manly, and or skipping that waxing appointment. Or just donate any amount to help a great cause!!!!!
