Many of you know our families story. In December of 2015 our granddaughter, Arianna was diagnosed with JMML Leukemia, an rare and aggressive form of leukemia. We were told that Arianna would need a bone marrow transplant. It was the only known way to beat this disease. Arianna spent most of last summer in PICU. We almost lost our beloved granddaughter several times be September. Arianna acquired a severe case of graft versus host disease (GVHD). This disease wreaked havoc on Arianna's skin and internal organs. Arianna was hospitalized fo 14 months. She finally got to go home on April 12th. Her fight is not over, the severe damage to her intestines most likely with cause her to get an intestines transplant. The disease has affected her mental and physical development. There is not enough funding for pediatric cancer research. Please help one and Arianna's team help CHOP. We are forever in debt to CHOP for saving Arianna's life!
