CHOP is a super special place and we are so thankful for all they have done for us. It was home for us for 6 months and is the place that gave us HOPE when Jillian was diagnosed in April of 2016. Jillian completed treatment in October and in March was off isolation and able to go back to normal activities such as school, gymnastics and just living a normal 5 year old life again.
In May 2017, an MRI revealed the devastating news that her cancer had spread to a different part of her brain and the only available options would buy us minimal time yet compromise her being able to live outside the hospital walls. We chose quality over quantity. No family should have to be told this nor have to make this excruciating decision. Every child should have treatment options to buy them more time and years of survival not just months. Jillian will unfortunately become a statistic of childhood cancer because we don't have treatment options available. Please help be part of the change and movement and help fund research so that families don't have to go through what we are going through.

Why this is so important to me:
Patients Need Us Parents shouldn’t have to hear the words “your child has cancer.” However, 1 in 285 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they’re 20 years old.
How You Can Help Make an Immediate Impact Today 100% of every donation helps CHOP make important breakthroughs in understanding the causes of childhood cancer – and developing treatments that improve cure rates.
Thank you for your support and we can't wait to see you all at the start line!
