I’m raising money to help fight childhood cancer and fund lifesaving research and innovative care at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  Join me to help CHOP make a difference today!

Why this is so important to me:  In July of 2008, I was diagnosed with a severe form of brain cancer.  The reason why I am still a healthy, able-bodied individual is because of research funding that comes from events like these, the treatments that are developed as a result of that funding, and the level of care received at places like CHOP. While battling cancer with numerous surgeries, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy, I also witnessed other families and children undergoing the same thing.  As bad as it is fighting cancer at 18-years old, nothing can prepare you to see children doing the same thing or families coping with the loss of a child.  Despite all the years of life that can be saved, pediatric cancer research is still incredibly underfunded.  It's my sincere hope that events like these will continue to spur the life-saving research and treatment we need to ensure all children have a chance of living a fulfilled and happy life!  Join me in ensuring no family hears the words, "your child has cancer" again!

Patients Need Us
Parents shouldn’t have to hear the words “your child has cancer.” However,  1 in 285 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they’re 20 years old.

Breakthroughs Are Upon Us
CHOP’s Center for Childhood Cancer Research is one of the most distinguished research programs in the nation. Every day, CHOP’s Cancer Center team is redefining what a cancer diagnosis means for a child.
