I hope you will consider supporting my participation in Drexel University’s first annual Dance Marathon event this upcoming spring! All contributions will benefit Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Any contribution will help, and all donations are tax deductible.
I'll be dancing in this year's Drexel Dance Marathon in honor of a good friend of mine from high school that was taken away from us too early, Michael Gade. Being a part of a dance marathon is not an unfamiliar experience for me. I have previously participated at my high school’s Steve Stefani Dance Marathon (SSDM) in Springfield, PA for four years as a captain and a dancer to raise money for the Four Diamonds Fund to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer care and research. It was truly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I am very excited to now participate as a dancer during my last year as a Drexel Dragon to raise money for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I have previously volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House on multiple occasions and participated in a few of their fundraising events over the years. As a result, I have had the pleasure of meeting many of the children who receive care from CHOP, which makes this experience all the more meaningful to me.
