For the month of May I am participating in Children's Hospital of Philadelphia’s Daisy Day 31-Day Challenge! I have pledged to run for 31 days to support cutting-edge research and care at CHOP!
Why I Participate All children deserve to experience a life full of things like playing outside with their friends, youth sports, learning new things at school and of course, pizza parties! There are very few things that are more unfair than a child being diagnosed with cancer; living a life that consists of treatments, surgeries and spending their days in a hospital. The time for breakthroughs is now. CHOP is on the cusp of life-changing discoveries for children. They are transforming the well-being of children and creating healthier communities throughout Philadelphia and across the world. I am raising money because I want to help make today’s innovative ideas, tomorrow’s realities.
How You Can Help Consider supporting me by making a tax-deductible donation as I take on the 100 mile Challenge to raise money for pediatric cancer research at CHOP. Yes, you read that correctly; I am going to run 100 miles over the course of the 31 days of May. However, running 100 miles is not enough in my opinion. I have also set a fundraising goal of $5000 that will directly benefit cancer research at CHOP. So please, root me on to reach my 100 mile goal and consider making a donation towards my fund-raising goal.
