2018 Daisy Days 31-Day Challenge

Dear Family and Friends,

For the month of May I am participating in Children's Hospital of Philadelphia’s Daisy Day 31-Day Challenge! I have pledged to [walk, jog, run] 62 miles for 31 days to support cutting-edge research and care at CHOP!

Why I Participate
I participate in this challenge for so many reasons. Manly, I do this in celebration of my step-daughter Sam who has been off cancer treatments now for a little over a year. ❤️ We cannot thank the doctors and caregivers at CHOP enough, along with prayers received. It's times like this when you have been put in a position (like we have) where something  happens that just makes you stop and be grateful for life and who you have in it. Sam's cancer was that moment for me! I do this also, in honor of the young children who unfortunately have lost their battle with cancer. Lastly, I take on this challenge because I CAN...so why wouldn't I?!?  The time for breakthroughs is now. CHOP is on the cusp of life-changing discoveries for children and their families.

How You Can Help
Please Consider supporting me in my 2nd annual Daisy Days Challenge by making a tax-deductible donation as I take on the 62 mile Challenge this year, to raise money for (Childhood) Pediatric Cancer and care at CHOP.
