Team Captain Jack's Jedis 2018 Parkway Run & Walk

I’m raising money to help fight childhood cancer and fund lifesaving research and innovative care at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  Join me –  together we can make a difference!

Why this is so important to me:

Jack was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in June of 2017.
He was diagnosed just before he turned 4.  CHOP has given him great care over this year.  It has been a long year full of late nights worrying, hospital stays, ER Visits, IV Chemo, upset bellies, sore legs, hair loss, daily medicine and many other challenges.  No matter what he still finds a way to smile and live each day to the fullest.  We are proud to be ambassadors for the Parkway 5K this year and look forward to helping impact the funds that can go directly to the care of children like Jack.  Participating gives us a purpose in the face of this battle that will hopefully one day become a part of his history because of the advances in care and research happening right at CHOP.

Patients Need Us
Parents shouldn’t have to hear the words “your child has cancer.” However,  1 in 285 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they are 20 years old.

Breakthroughs Are Upon Us
Every day, CHOP’s Cancer Center team is redefining what a cancer diagnosis means for a child. The center offers the most advanced therapies available anywhere in the world, including cutting-edge clinical trials that reprogram the body’s own immune system to fight cancer. CHOP’s Center for Childhood Cancer Research is one of the most distinguished research programs in the nation.

How You Can Help

Make an Immediate Impact Today.
100 percent of every donation to the Parkway Run & Walk will help CHOP make important breakthroughs in understanding the causes of childhood cancer, developing new treatments that will improve outcomes for children, and one day may lead to a cure for childhood cancer.

Thank you for your support!
