Hello my name is Paige Worrell and I am 14 years old.  This year aside from the Covid-19 pandemic my family faced a hard time that none of us were prepared for.  I want to raise funds because my mother currently has stage four Triple Negative Breast Cancer with metastasis to her liver.  Watching my mom go through her chemotherapy treatments, surgery, the whole process of loosing her hair, being sick and so weak made me wonder how children with cancer go through this experience and what I could do to brighten there day in any way. 

You can help me brighten a child’s hospital stay through a tax-deductible donation in support of the Child Life, Education and Creative Arts Therapy team, with my donations going specifically to the Oncology team at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

This special team provides care and support year-round to children with cancer and their families in the hospital. With thousands of children visiting CHOP every year, the Child Life team has an ongoing need for toys, craft supplies, books, video games and movies.  Due to the pandemic in-person donations are still currently not being accepted out of caution for the patients and their families. This platform allows me to jump in and still try to make a difference in a child or someone my own ages day.
