Toys for heart kids

Four years ago, our infant son underwent life-saving open heart surgery at CHOP. 

To mark his heart-iversary, each year we honor the CHOP Child Life program. When our son was upset, scared or bored, Child Life was there with toys, distractions, and even printed pictures of family members and home. 

We've gathered hundreds of toys for the kids on the cardiac floor over the past four years. Because Covid restrictions do not allow for in-person donations this year, we are instead holding a fundraiser to allow the Child Life program to purchase toys and supplies for the cardiac floor.
