Wyatt was just shy of 5 months old when he was admitted to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).  Wyatt woke up on the morning of March 14^th with symptoms of jaundice and ended up spending the next 2 ½ weeks being tested and treated for a malignant rhabdoid tumor.  On April 14^th, sweet baby Wyatt passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by his parents, brother, and sisters.

CHOP was a bright spot for Wyatt’s parents, Ryan and Jessica, during this incredibly dark period.  CHOP made this entire ordeal more bearable.  Every single person they met with were full of compassion.  From listening ears to providing validation for thoughts/feelings/fears, to even just laughing at a joke with them, every single person helped.

In support of baby Wyatt, we are asking that you help brighten other family’s hospital stay through a donation in support of the Child Life, Education and Creative Arts Therapy team at CHOP.

This special team provides care and support year-round to children and families in the hospital. With thousands of children visiting CHOP every year, the Child Life team has an ongoing need for toys, craft supplies, books, video games and movies.
