Super Sam is done with chemo!

Thank you for visiting my Celebration page for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). 

Sam has been getting the world's best medical care at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia since March 29, 2018, when he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

On June 4, 2021 HE TAKES HIS LAST DOSE OF CHEMOTHERAPY!!! After nearly 2 1/2 years, he is done. Sam's excellent prognosis would not be possible without the years of medical research that CHOP has done over the past decades.  At every appointment, and during every hospitalization, Sam was met with the smiling, caring faces of all the doctors, nurses, aides, physical therapists, clerks, and childlife specialists who made the journey so much more tolerable for him, and for us.
