The Champ's Corner: Alex Muñoz

Our sweet Alex, nicknamed "Champ," was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, brain cancer, when he was 15 years old. 

Alex bravely fought for 19 months, but the cancer returned and took our precious boy from us. 

CHOP was there for us in every way as we navigated through the impossible experience of a child facing a cancer diagnosis. We hope to pay it forward in order to help the next family confront the words that no one should ever encounter: Your child has cancer.
