Dear Family and Friends,

On December 5th, Toll Gate is hosting a Pajama Day to support both Child Life Services at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Doyle Family. Students will see one of the many ways in which they can show empathy, the December character trait in the Character Strong curriculum. Colin is a second grader at TGG and his sister, Caroline, age 2, is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia at CHOP

Why We Participate

As a community we want to offer an opportunity for our students to show support for both the Doyle Family and Child Life Services at CHOP. Child Life utilizes the therapeutic value of play to provide important chances for patients to engage in normal day-to-day experiences and enhances their ability to cope with the hospital experience.

How You Can Help  
 Take some time to talk to your child about empathy, encourage your child to wear pajamas on December 5th, and consider supporting this special day by making a tax-deductible donation as we say YAY to Pajama Day.
