As many of you know, our beloved son, Aiden (age 3), was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive brain cancer in April of last year. Aiden put up a valiant 14-month fight against cancer. Sadly, Aiden was taken from us on May 26, 2020. Brain cancer took a lot of things away from Aiden, but it never touched his spirit.
During our battle, we learned that pediatric brain cancer is under-funded and still involves toxic therapies that cause life-long complications. In many cases, children with brain tumors die from disease.
Our goal is to raise funds to be allocated toward brain tumor research, targeted therapies for children with brain tumors and patient care.
CHOP became our home over the past year and we feel called to support the hospital, physicians, researchers, nurses and child life specialists that helped care for our son.
