As many of you are aware, I am running the NYC Marathon for the first time. In fact this is the first time I am running any marathon. Rather than just running the marathon for me, I have decided to try to raise some money for the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, Fetal Diagnosis & Treatment Department. This department is so near and dear to my heart as Kelli and Brayden (while in utero) were followed since 18 weeks. They were an amazing group of doctors that comforted us when we were scared and supported us when we had to make some difficult decisions. Though Brayden ended up being perfectly normal, they never left our side and cared for Brayden the first week he was alive. I love CHOP and will always be greatful for their dedication, advice and care.
