We are raising money to help fight childhood cancer and fund breakthrough research and innovative care at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Join us – together we can make a difference!

Why This Is So Important to Our Team:

Aidan Christopher Eberhardt, was diagnosed with medulloblastoma on New Year’s Day 2016 when he was just 9 years old. He fought like a true warrior for almost three years, until he gained his angel wings August 25, 2018, a few months shy of his 12th birthday.  He faced his illness with such courage, and a large part of that was due to the amazing teams at CHOP. We want to honor his memory by supporting CHOP as they have supported us. His family and friends will always remember him for his kind smile, witty sense of humor, and quiet determination. The CHOP Parkway Run & Walk became a very meaningful event to Aidan. He would get super excited, keeping track of how big his team was growing, and looking forward to walking with all of his teammates. The love and support of everyone involved was a source of strength for Aidan and our family through these difficult times.  The wonderful doctors and nurses at CHOP worked tirelessly to provide the highest level of care to Aidan throughout his treatment. They treat their patients like family, providing comfort and hope to the children and families impacted by this terrible disease. We want to raise funds to help the brilliant minds find more advanced treatments, or even a cure, so other children and families don’t have to experience the nightmare that follows a cancer diagnosis.

Patients Need Us
Parents shouldn’t have to hear the words “your child has cancer,” but 1 in 285 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they are 20 years old.

Breakthroughs Are Upon Us  Every day, CHOP’s Cancer Center team is redefining what a cancer diagnosis means for a child. The center offers the most advanced therapies available anywhere in the world, including cutting-edge clinical trials that reprogram the body’s own immune system to fight cancer. CHOP’s Center for Childhood Cancer Research is one of the most distinguished research programs in the nation.
