Three years ago, we were sent to CHOP due to Brooklyn being in respiratory distress. In the course of a month, we had (2) separate 5-day stays in the PICU. Our little asthmatic baby was a trooper but what really put a smile on her face during our stay(s) were the toys brought to our room by the Child Life team.
The holiday season is a time for joy, laughter and creating cherished memories with loved ones. However, for some children and families at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), it can be filled with stress, uncertainty and challenges.
This year, hundreds of children will be spending the holidays at CHOP, and I need your help to bring the magic of the holidays to them. By making a donation to my virtual toy drive, you will allow CHOP to purchase toys, games and gifts for these families who will be spending the holidays away from home.
