Help CHOP make Diabetes disappear!

Help Me Pose for a Purpose and Support the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes at CHOP!

My name is Dylan and my Mommy & Daddy talk about Diabetes every day. See my Dad has Type 1 Diabetes so there is a higher risk for me to also develop Diabetes.  That really scares my Mom & Dad. I watch my Dad give himself insulin every day and sometimes he even lets me help! They’re always worrying about his blood sugar being too high or too low. They say that’s why I’m not allowed to have a lot of candy and sometimes that’s a bummer. 

With a donation from you, you’d be supporting the research in helping prevent Diabetes in children and siblings of diabetics. The research includes a blood test to determine if a child has a certain antibody that will predict if they will get diabetes. Once that antibody is detected, there is a preventative monoclonal antibody IV infusion that they can get that will prevent them from getting diabetes. Wouldn’t that be amazing?
