Supporting Autism Research

One in every 68 children will be diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. The causes of this condition remain largely unknown, and there are few truly effective treatments. Families are often left feeling unsure about the best way to help their child and support them as they grow into adults. The Center for Autism Research (CAR) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is a multidisciplinary team of expert researchers and clinicians who are partnering with thousands of patients and their families — at CHOP and across the country — to better understand the underlying causes of autism, with the ultimate goal of developing effective, personalized treatments.

By participating in Huddle Up for Autism, you support CAR’s breakthrough research, as well as the work they do each day to help children and young adults with autism reach their potential. Together, we will make discoveries that can dramatically improve the lives of individuals with autism from childhood through adulthood.
